Location: Remote (Requires occasional travel to site in Dublin)

roles and responsibilities

  • Lead the development of high-quality business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support solution design, build, testing, and implementation.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define key metrics, capture voice-of-customer insights, and translate business needs into analytical outputs and digital solutions.

  • Facilitate the refinement and prioritisation of user stories with business SMEs, technical teams, and delivery partners.

  • Support data management business process design activities to identify effective people, process, data, and technology solutions across key business areas.

  • Produce accurate, meaningful reporting and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Support the integration of data from multiple sources, helping to improve data consistency, accessibility, and usability.

  • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards and data visualisations that enable timely, data-driven decision-making.

  • Perform data validation and quality checks to help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business-critical data.


how to succeed

  • Significant relevant experience as a Business Analyst, with strong expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution delivery in a data management context.

  • Experience in a regulated quality and compliance environment is required.

  • Proven experience operating as an experienced individual contributor, partnering effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Experience supporting data-focused initiatives such as reporting, dashboard development, data integration, process improvement, or digital solution delivery.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility across functions.

  • Ability to work through ambiguity, establish the facts, and form clear, evidence-based recommendations in an evolving environment.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving capability and excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong execution and delivery focus, with the ability to progress work independently and follow through to completion.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly to varied audiences.


details

This contract will run for a 12 month period. This is a primarily remote position, it will require travel to Dublin site occasionally (maybe once a quarter and maybe for initial onboarding)
