Design Engineer

Johnson & Johnson Worksense (via Randstad Sourceright) is responsible for finding, engaging and contracting talent for the Johnson & Johnson contingent workforce

Currently we are looking for a CAD Engineer for one year. 

who:

• Makes final computer aided design (CAD) system drawings and design layouts. 
• Checks dimensions of parts in relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to the whole structure or project. 
• Designs major components or major portions of system instrumentation to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. 
• Uses in-depth knowledge of various mechanisms, drafting practices, and mathematics to complete drawings. Prepares moderately complex three dimensional designs and models. 
• Investigates design factors such as manufacturability, interchangeability, materials and techniques. 
• Makes layouts of moderately complex assemblies and detail parts of devices and mechanisms. 
• Participates as a contributor to product development teams and/or cross functional teams. Draws designs from sketches, redlined blueprints or from oral engineering presentations. 
• Conceptualizes ideas and understands inadequacies of designs. 
• Comes up with possible solutions to design problems.
