Duration: 12 month contract

Overview.

The AM E-Learning Content Developer will be responsible for designing and developing effective and engaging facilities asset management -related educational and training programs for facilities management processes. This includes researching and analyzing the needs of learners and stakeholders, designing and developing instructional materials, and evaluating the effectiveness of the training programs. This role works closely with the AM Technical Writer and AM subject matter experts across multiple regions.

roles and responsibilities.

  • Design, develop, and maintain e-learning courses and programs using authoring tools

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and project managers to determine course objectives, content, and structure

  • Create engaging and interactive multimedia elements, such as animations, videos, simulations, and interactive quizzes

  • Develop and maintain course templates, assets, and style guides

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting support for issues related to course delivery

  • Ensure course content is accessible and compliant with accessibility standards and guidelines

  • Track and report on course usage, performance, and completion data

  • Stay current with advancements in e-learning technologies and trends

  • Be innovative and creative in the use of language, graphics, animations, interactions, audio and video


how to succeed.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Strong multimedia development skills, including experience with animations, videos, simulations, and interactive quizzes

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail

  • Experience with video editing software

  • Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, and other e-learning standards and guidelines

  • Familiarity with coding languages like HTML5 and JavaScript

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, multimedia development, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in e-learning development
