For our site in Geel, we are looking for a HAZOP/LOPA scribe to support our team of internal HAZOP/LOPA Leads. This team is responsible for safety studies throughout the entire lifecycle of our equipment; both within projects (basic engineering through as-built) as well as in the remediation of safety studies on existing equipment.

roles and responsibilities

As a HAZOP/LOPA Scribe, you provide support in analyzing, structuring, and substantiating safety choices within new and existing installations.

This will involve:

• Accurately taking minutes of all discussions, findings, and recommendations during HAZOP/LOPA studies.

• Supporting the preparation and reporting of safety studies for installations such as reactors, dryers, centrifuges, tanks, and utilities.

You have an interest in technology, are eager to learn, and possess the right scientific background to smoothly structure and document technical discussions.

You will also bring:

• A scientific degree (for example, a Master's degree in Engineering Sciences in chemical or process safety engineering) with an interest in technology

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• An eager-to-learn mindset and the ambition to view this role as a great opportunity to subsequently grow into a further role
