Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland (Hybrid working 3 days a week on site)
Duration: 12 month contract
Hours: 39 hours per week

Reporting into the Training Manager, the Development & Capability specialist is responsible for supporting the design and development of training modules and programs. The Digital Learning Design Specialist will correspond with subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine skills gaps/learning needs, design training and develop high quality e-learning materials. This includes working with a variety of different media and methodologies, taking a continuous improvement approach to existing training assets and content. Partnering with internal team-members and external vendors to manage the content production process. The role is primarily focused on digital content design & Development. Interface at (Team Leader, Manager and Director Level) with all site departments, Operations and Maintenance. Contact with other Janssen Biologics sites. Be conscious of internal customers to the department and be cognoscente of their requirements.

Support the design and development of digital learning content strategy and e-learning solutions while managing the full content production process. This will involve:
Partner with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional teams
Design and support development of Digital Learning content strategy and e-learning solutions for the Division
Be an expert in Storyline which is our primary elearning creation tool (ability to provide examples advantageous)
Ability to create menus, create custom elearning offerings leveraging advanced Storyline techniques
Develop animation using vector-based tools like Illustrator or other animation approaches
Have good working knowledge of tools like Snag-it and Camtasia to post-edit video content
Be proficient on video equipment to create content and edit the results
Able to prioritize and manage multiple e-learning projects with various teams
Partner with LMS Administrator to generate best practices for tracking and analytics
Participates as a Training Department representative in committees or organizational groups, as required
Achieves high training standards, consistent with management expectations on timeliness of training and target audience coverage
Provide training needs analysis as required
Assess and evaluates the effectiveness of training design and delivery methods
Strives to keep training approaches current and engaging
Manage and file all training documentation
Problem solving, trouble shooting and solution finding to a variety of training issues/problems

how to succeed. Bring a solid background in instructional design, technical writing, and digital authoring tools combined with the ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. You will also bring:
Minimum of 3 years instructional design or technical writing experience
Experience in eLearning / digital authoring tools
Expert experience with Microsoft Office suite
5 years of experience with Articulate learning technology
5+ years of managing learning platforms and developing learning content
Demonstrated experience in managing projects from start to finish with strong cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
Proven working experience in digital learning course and content development
Solid design background (video editing, e-learning, SCORM)
Ability to:
Take a storyboard and produce content-based design, simulations, scenarios
Edit & rework or update content
Create/edit audio scripts/video
Project Manage multiple learning projects
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of internal and external groups in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
