A LIMS Master Data Analyst, creates, updates and maintains high quality Master Data within eLIMS based on the Lab Specifications. eLIMS is a product of LabVantage. This analyst must come from a quality background with experience of working in GMP environments.

The Analyst will take on incoming requests from sites to e.g update/create specifications, tests/test limits for Raw Material, Packaging, Release and Stability, that will be used in the QC Laboratories. They will escalate any issues and understand the impact towards our customers when changing / updating existing Master Data.  In order to maintain high quality data, they collaborate with customers to fully understand the Master Data requirements and will review all configurations for accuracy and completeness.  

The LIMS Master Data Analyst is able to work independently and work as a team player, where clear communication is important. They must be attentive to the small details. It is a complex set up and must be able to take on information on how it connects end to end.

The Analyst must have experience leading small projects within the LIMS team such as Harmonization / standardization of processes. 


roles and responsibilities

  • 80-85 % - Creates, updates, reviews & approves Master Data (Raw Material, Packaging, Release and Stability).

  • 10% - Follows procedures, events, etc with the appropriate applications (TruVault, Trackwise, Comet, Confluence, q-Test or any other designed system. 

  • 5 % - Provide feedback to eLIMS CoE Supervisor regarding eLIMS activities performance 


how to succeed

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably Science related or equivalent education is required. The Analyst must have 3 – 5 years’ experience of working in QC Laboratories/ GMP environments.  Knowledge & experience with LIMS is required.

  • They must have the ability to manage multiple issues, organize activities, prioritize and escalate to management when appropriate.

  • The Analyst must have decent written and verbal communication skills (Basic in English – B2).

  • The Analyst must be flexible to adapt to urgent needs.

  • They must have the ability to interact with Local lab leaders where necessary regarding master data related issues.  They must have the ability to maintain a strong relationship with Local Labs and maintain a clear line of communication with the eLIMS CoE Supervisor. They must have a strong customer focus and be dedicated to meeting customer expectations as determined by the eLIMS CoE Supervisor.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 1 year, but an extension is possible.
