Imagine your next role as a Manufacturing Supervisor. 

You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining the production output as documented in the master production schedule or shipment schedule, confirming; safety, cGMP, and lean. You will be working with other manufacturing supervisors. 

You will be responsible for the core business of the department. 

You will create a culture in which continuous adherence to, and improvement of, standards is the standard. 

The manufacturing supervisor leads, supports, and coaches a team of colleagues. You will ensure a learning and stimulating work environment.



Responsibilities


  • Supports the introduction of New Products/Equipment.

  • Providing User Requirements (URS) to (line) Engineering

  • Identifies documentation affected (SOP’s and Work Instructions);

  • Supports training for manufacturing operators in the correct use of the equipment; and

  • Supports the qualification of the equipment

  • Assigning operators per team

  • Responsible for keeping all documentation that is necessary for the execution of the process up to date

  • Performs Periodic Review on his / her team.\

  • Leads investigations of deviations if needed escalates to line specialists and/or line engineers.

  • Responsible for the proper bounding and labeling according to procedure

  • Ensures documentation is done in a timely manner according to procedure

  • Supports CAPAs and can be part of an investigation group.

  • Supports Operations in his / her area of expertise where it is expected that he/she can solve the most common problems independently

  • Acts as an SME for processes for which he/she is responsible

  • Identifies improvement options for the processes and equipment.

  • Supports improvement processes

  • Handles Change management of changes that affect employees.



The  Manufacturing supervisor will also cooperate with the shift schedule except for public holidays.

More specifically:

  • 2 shift pattern system 16/7

  • 2 early 2 late and 2 free




how to succeed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed HBO education

  • Relevant work experience in a production environment

  • Leadership skills

  • Experience with Lean or improvement projects is a plus

  • Cleanroom and GMP experience is a plus

  • First aid and experience with working safely is a plus

  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, JDE, and MES)

  • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language.

  • Business/financial acumen, Six Sigma and process excellence tools/methodologies, presentation skills

  • Performs pre-determine schedule level checks to ensure quality and reliability
