roles and responsibilities
This role supports aspects of the DePuy Synthes Pricing and the wider Commercial Excellence Team with a mix of routine and ad hoc requests as business demands dictate. This will involve:
Provide analytical expertise and support to enable key DPS Commex Projects such as major Framework submissions, List Price Changes, Contract Management, and others.
Partner with DPS Senior CommEx Analyst as required to help refresh Data for Sales Leagues (Sales Team Ranking)
Run, extract, and finalize regular and ad hoc Usage Reports, Invoice Reports via Power Bi to provide the data in the format as requested by our customers
Run (SQL queries) & provide weekly files downloaded from JDE (Invoicing System) to the CommEx Team
Update on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis internally built tools (built with MS Access SQL, VBA) used by the Pricing Team for:
issuing Quotations
adding New Product Introductions to existing frameworks/customer contracts
Framework Pricing Tools
Maintenance and troubleshooting of our internal SWIFT App (Power Automate Platform) which is used by the Sales Organization to submit agreement requests to the Pricing Team
Opportunity to bring own experience and new ideas to the team to further improve, automate and make processes more efficient in the Commercial Excellence Team
Support large pricing exercises such as List Price increases, New Product Introductions, Product Line Extensions, Product Substitutions or Backorder Issue Resolutions by amending system price setups and issuing accompanying documentation
Strong relationships to be formed with Commercial and Sales Organization
Collaborate as required with other departments such as Customer Services, Supply Chain, IT, Finance
Maintain strong working relationships with the Contracting & Tenders Team
how to succeed
You will have strong analytical skills, be an expert user of MS office and will have a high attention to detail and numeric accuracy. You will be a team player, be a strong communicator and will have the ability to prioritse work daily. You will also bring:
Knowledge of VBA, SQL, MS Access SQL, Power Bi, Power Automate Platform, expert in MS Office
Experience using JDE and/or SAP is advantageous
Willingness to travel, and attend meetings as required
