The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the raising of purchase orders on eMP for all functions and maintenance of vendor details through partnership with Global Services to update JJVC Vendor records. They will liaise with Purchase Order owners to ensure timely receipt of POs and resolution of issues. 

roles and responsibilities

This will involve: 

• Reviews purchase order data entry and maintenance for accuracy.

• Places orders by phone, fax, mail or email as appropriate.

• Compiles data from the corrective action log, including tracking activities and discrepancies and reports status to management.

• Monitors filing systems for completeness.

• Expedites components or products by contacting vendors and establishing delivery dates. 

• Contacts vendor when products received do not match products ordered or regarding damaged goods.

• Reviews and updates correspondence and reports.

• Prepares ad hoc reports as requested.

• Primary point of contact for the site relating to Purchase Order placement

• Processes queries and interactions with the Global Services team.

• Provides guidance and training on procurement processes

You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well with others and strong attention to detail and accuracy. You will also bring:

• Minimum Leaving Certificate

• 5+ years of related experience in a procurement role
