Global Transportation & Trade Operations EMEA supports Johnson & Johnson MedTech by managing a complex network of manufacturing sites, regional hubs, and distribution centers. We drive best-in-class performance, transport reliability, and trade compliance by leveraging advanced Integrated Logistics Operations.

roles and responsibilities 

This role provides operational oversight and coordination of Inbound Transportation for the MedTech segment to ensure a reliable and cost-efficient supply chain.

This will involve:

  • In collaboration with 4PL Control Tower, support daily operation of transportation services for Inbound Freight.

  • Proactively surface and resolve key issues and solve complex supplier performance & quality problems.

  • Support MedTech IBF budget management, including accruals, invoicing, and freight audit & pay.

  • Support regular BvA (Budget vs Actuals) processes in collaboration with Finance.

  • Identify and implement cost optimization through operational improvements and manage the CIP pipeline.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain functions (Deliver, Make, Quality, Procurement) for new supplier/lane set-ups.

  • Support KPI dashboard management and drive process improvement via corrective actions.


how to succeed 

You are an analytical thinker with a passion for numbers and a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics.

You will also bring:

  • Bachelor or University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.

  • 1-2 years of related experience in Transportation or Supply Chain.

  • Excellent analytical skills and affinity for budgeting and financial reconciliation.

  • Subject Matter Expertise across core Transportation, Planning, and Carrier/3PL-4PL management.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Experience in E2E Supply chain disciplines (Order-to-Cash is a plus).

  • Knowledge of import/export processes and systems.

  • Lean certification or a process-oriented mindset for continuous improvement.
