Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Leiden, Netherlands

Step into a pivotal financial leadership role where you will partner with site leadership at our Leiden Manufacturing Plant to drive the financial strategy behind life-changing healthcare innovations.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide financial guidance and analytical insights to support the delivery of site commitments and manage day-to-day operations. This will involve:

• Leading all forecast planning, closing activities, and investment proposals.

• Supporting site strategy development and execution through the Long Range Financial Planning (LRFP) process.

• Partnering with the business to manage site capital projects, departmental headcount, and budgets.

• Collaborating with Business Excellence, Health & Safety, and IT Organizations on cost improvements.

• Consolidating, challenging, and presenting forecast updates and quarterly results to leadership.

• Managing financial reporting for Site R&D and New Product Introductions.

You are a highly analytical finance professional with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You will also bring:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred).

• At least 3 years of professional business experience.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables).

• Excellent conceptual, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Professional certifications such as a CPA, CMA, or MBA are preferred.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a permanent duration.
