roles and responsibilities.
Build and maintain deep expertise in related therapy area in oncology, staying up to date with clinical and scientific advances through actively engaging with key clinicians and academics.
Gather and translate field insights to inform medical strategy and evidence generation
Contribute to local evidence generation strategy by identifying data gaps and proposing research initiatives
Contribute to the development and execution of the local Medical Affairs plan in related therapy areas
Lead or support key medical affairs projects (e.g., advisory boards, scientific exchange, medical education programmes)
Collaborate with Market Access colleagues providing medical expertise on Health Technology Appraisal submission(s)
Work closely with Commercial, Regulatory, and Global/EMEA teams to ensure aligned strategy and execution
Ensure all activities comply with ABPI Code of Practice and company policies
Act as medical reviewer/final signatory (if qualified), ensuring scientific accuracy and balance
how to succeed.
GMC registered physician or Pharmacist with UK registration, or
PhD in oncology, immunology, molecular biology, or related discipline, or
MSc with significant experience in Immunology Medical Affairs in pharmaceutical industry, or
Other relevant healthcare qualifications combined with substantial Immunology Medical Affairs experience
Proven experience in Medical Affairs or related roles
Strong project management skills and demonstrated experiences in leading clinical/ scientific programs with a high degree of autonomy
Good understanding of ABPI Code of Practice
Experience as a Medical Advisor in IBD preferred
Ideally ABPI Code of Practice Final Signatory status
