The Warehouse Systems Specialist is responsible for maintaining efficient and correct usage of SAP/MES within the Warehouse to enable stock accuracies and batch traceability
Roles and Responsibilities
SAP single point of contact for key user/end user support & issue escalations within the Warehouse.
MES single point of contact for issue escalations within the Warehouse.
Point of contact for Warehouse Applications related initiatives/projects – representing the Warehouse on all impacting projects coming from global (e.g. system upgrades), local (e.g. change requests), other (e.g. JJPS).
Developing and supporting key user training.
Business Process Analysis for new functionality or modifications.
Maintain SAP related SOPs/WIs and all other supporting documentation such as jobcards and training material.
Support delivery of end user training for SAP.
Take responsibility for leading small systems projects from including definition and project goals, scope and schedule. Manage risk and provide regular updates on progress to stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Work with SAP/MES SME’s from other departments
How to Succeed
Degree or Postgraduate qualification in a relevant IT/Systems area.
2+ years experience.
Experience of SAP, MES, electronic documentation system and/or other business systems.
Knowledge of System Validation desirable but not essential.
Manufacturing experience within a GMP regulated environment.
Project Management knowledge.
Postgraduate Qualification.
Experience of Microsoft Office Applications.
6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training.
