Your responsibilities and your Impact:
Project Lighthouse is the implementation of a Global Transportation Control Tower for Johnson & Johnson, to drive best-in-class performance through a standardized operational framework to enable end-to-end visibility for performance and spending. The Control Tower (CT) setup is a fully integrated End-to-End supply chain Management solution that integrates J&J and its business partners (Sites, Global Air & Ocean providers, pre & on-carriage providers, etc.), providing the people, systems and processes to effectively manage international transportation. This enables J&J to have full visibility and control on all shipments and transport modes in the region. CT acts as an extension of J&J Logistics team.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate and follow up on activities within the different workstreams supporting the scope
Provide regular status updates on executive and detailed level
Maintain the project plan and hold people accountable
Prepare and Lead team meetings
Prepare stakeholder meetings
Define the cutover plan and facilitate the go/no decision meetings
Follow up on resource availability
Escalate to the core team when needed
Active participant of the Communication workstream
Creating communication and provide content for the sharepoint sites
Present on the project
Building and maintaining dashboards
Be backup for certain PM roles
Education and Experience Required for Role
Essential:
Minimum 5 years of experience in any combination of the following related areas through project management: Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain Planning, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing or Distribution.
Master’s degree is preferred in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business.
Leadership and Effective Communication: You must effectively lead and communicate with your teams as well as stakeholders throughout the entire lifecycle of a project.
Organization and Time Management: You must handle the organization and delegation of tasks.
Creative Problem Solving and Adaptability: You must understand how to resolve issues and adapt their projects creatively to avoid mishaps and losses.
Motivation and Team Management: You must ensure that the stakeholders and team members stay motivated throughout a project's lifecycle.
Identifying project goals, needs, and scope
Planning, monitoring, and documenting tasks throughout a project
Ensuring all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly
Managing all resources necessary for project execution
Fostering effective communication with stakeholders concerning project status
Foreseeing and strategically eliminating blockers and potential risks
Documenting each step of the process using various project management tools
Ensuring top-quality results and success for a project
