Johnson and Johnson CBT QCS (Corporate Business Technology Quality Compliance and Sustainability) is recruiting for a Business Analyst – Technical Product Analyst – Lab Informatics, located in EMEA (Central European Standard Time)
In CBT, we serve as strategic but pragmatic problem solvers and innovators by connecting business strategies with technology solutions. This position will be for the Labs Function within the QCS CBT group.
Role and responsibilities
The Business Analyst – Technical Product Analyst (TPA) – is a key role in the product selection and introduction process for new innovative technologies in the labs space.
this includes:
Product assessment and selection
Scoping study for the expected business objectives
Build business case for the selected product with clear problem statements, proposed solutions, cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and risk assessments
Understands user needs and map them to product capabilities
Performs product capability gap-fit assessments
Builds use cases, writes, and clarifies user stories, visualization, and process flows
Defines/create objective product selection framework
Aligns product selection assessment with JJT architecture
Build product and financial roadmap in collaboration with the vendor and internal stakeholders
Seeks LT endorsement for product selection and business case
Product introduction
Facilitates the onboarding process for new products
Serves as asset owner in the asset management tool
Guides the SDLC product requirements completion
Serves as primary JJT contact for business stakeholders
Product assessment and selection
Scoping study based on user expectations
Capability gap-fit overview for a selected set of software products
Product selection template
Business case
Product Roadmap
Product introduction
Asset Manager set up
JIRA project set up
SDLC deliverables (compliance analysis as a minimum)
how to succeed
7+ years of relevant experience
Experience in Labs/Lab Informatics
Experience working in a cross-functional organization
Experience gathering requirements and translating into product capabilities
Experience in the Health Care industry preferred
Exposure to Quality or Risk Management functions preferred but not required.
Understanding of business/processes and high-level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery
Understanding of industry best practices for business case development
Ability to work across multiple products and with various partner teams
Ability to work across multiple time-zones
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, and ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others.
Benefits
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run to 31st December 2025 and has a strong possibility of extending.
