The EMEA Business Analytics and Forecasting Manager is a key member of an EMEA Business and Market intelligence team within the EMEA Strategy organization. The role holder works in close collaboration with the other members of the BI team (Business Insights Manager, Market Research Manager), as well as other functions (Finance, HEMAR) to deliver best in class descriptive and predictive analytics and to inform business decisions on a European level. The Business Analytics and Forecasting Manager plans and coordinates the analytics and forecasting activities for their dedicated Therapy area/brand for the EMEA region.
roles and responsibilities
The required contractor position will support the forecasting activities for the Prostate cancer in EMEA region. It's the key therapeutical area for Johnson&Johnson Innovative Medicine that includes one blockbuster brand and a new launch.
The key activities for the required period are:
Support the Prostate cancer team with the Financial Business planning, including the following tasks:
Analysis of the forecasting provided by the operating companies
Validation of the countries' assumptions behind the forecast
Aggregation and presentation of the total EMEA view
Triangulation of the multiple data sources and external analytics to provide the regional brand team with expert assessment of the Business planning numbers
Development of the alternative forecasting scenarios
Submission of the final view to the system
Analysis of the current brand performance using internal and external data sources
how to succeed
Required expertise:
Minimum a bachelor's degree or higher in finance/statistics/engineering/ data analytics
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics and forecasting within the pharmaceutical company and/or the agency side
Previous experience with the patient-based models/complex forecasting processes is required
Previous experience with JnJ IM is a plus, particularly in Business analytics and/ or Finance
Previous experience in Oncology is a plus
Excellent Excel and ppt skills
Excellent written and spoken English
