Support the development & implementation of Johnson & Johnson Production System to deliver Best in Class performance through a highly engaged workforce. Working cross functionally, play a leading role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement to achieve sustainable high standards of manufacturing performance. Lead and deliver projects to support the business needs of the site. roles and responsibilities.

  • Lead cross-functional transformation and continuous improvement projects that address priority business needs and deliver measurable, sustainable results.

  • Analyse and redesign manufacturing and business processes to improve capacity, flow, productivity and service while reducing lead times, inventory, waste and cost.

  • Embed and sustain the Johnson & Johnson Production System, including Managing Site Performance, value stream mapping, production capacity analysis and 6S standards.

  • Coach, mentor and engage employees in Lean thinking, structured problem solving and innovative improvement, building capability and ownership across the site.

  • Partner with Manufacturing, New Product Introduction and other functions to optimise operations and ensure every change is implemented safely, compliantly and effectively.

  • Measure, analyze, design, and implement sustainable manufacturing and business process improvements that optimise capacity, reduce lead-time, minimise inventories, maximise fill-rates, maximise process flow, and maximise productivity.

  • Actively encourage, promote and facilitate implementation of innovative solutions to ensure quality while delivering lower costs and shorter lead times.

  • Delivery & ownership of projects to support business needs.

  • Leading the embedding & sustaining of the ‘Managing Site Performance’ business process standard on site.

  • Facilitate value stream mapping activities.

  • Conduct Production capacity analysis for each value stream.

  • Facilitate the sustainment of 6S standards throughout the site.


how to succeed.

  • Essential: Certified to Lean or Six Sigma Green/Black belt level

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally medical device

  • Working knowledge of World Class Manufacturing & Lean Manufacturing

  • Working knowledge of highly regulated industry

  • Certified to Root Cause Problem Solving methodology

  • Desirable: Black Belt Certified and/or degree in relevant Process Excellence, Manufacturing, Engineering discipline

  • Desirable: Supervisory management qualification

  • Knowledge and application of Lean principles, tools, and methodologies

  • Self-motivated

  • Capability to work cross functionally

  • Change management advocate

  • Innovative and Systems thinker

  • Experience in Root Cause analysis techniques and problem solving

  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities

  • Must have strong collaboration and influence skills

  • Process focused, and results driven

  • Proven project management capabilities
