Commercial Quality Engineer 

Location: Solothurn (Selzach) Switzerland

Duration of the contract: Until 31st December 2026 (extension thereafter possible) 

Hours per week: 40, 3 days onsite, 2 days home office 

Essential: Previous experience within the Medical Devices industry, English (fluent) German (conversational) 3 years + quality and quality management systems experience.

As a Commercial Quality Engineer at our Solothurn, Selzach Distribution Centre, you are the guardian of compliance. You will bridge the gap between operational excellence and rigorous quality standards, ensuring that every product reaching a patient meets the highest levels of safety and reliability.

roles and responsibilities 

You will be accountable for the execution of Quality Management Systems and Compliance within the Selzach Distribution Centre.

This will involve:

• Responsible for management of Quality systems, including NCs/CAPA process, document management, change control, and training management.

• Ensuring the appropriate handling of distribution-related customer complaints (Delivery Service Issues).

• Providing support to the Distribution Center for planning and executions of Facility, equipment, and utilities qualifications.

• Supporting Deliver Operational and Customer Service teams on Distribution Quality matters as the primary point of contact.

• Executing quality assurance programs to ensure consistent processes with established standards and local regulations.

how to succeed 

You are a quality-minded professional with a deep understanding of GxP standards and a passion for continuous improvement.

You will also bring:

• Proven experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Compliance.

• Strong knowledge of NC/CAPA processes and Change Control.

• Experience within a GMP/GDP regulated environment (Medical Devices or Pharma).

• Fluency in English (German is a strong advantage given the location).

• Expertise in identifying opportunities to improve quality, cost, and time factors.

• Understanding of emerging regulations and their impact on distribution practices.

• Previously worked with EtQ and Windchill is very advantageous
