An opportunity has arisen in the Janssen UK Communications team for a Corporate Communications Manager to support external engagement and lead several key projects and activations in line with the company strategy. This is a part-time role, and the successful candidate will be required to work 3 consecutive days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of a Corporate Communications strategy that enhances Janssen's and J&J's reputation in the UK, leveraging corporate initiatives, Janssen assets, and stakeholder partnerships where appropriate.
- Support of reactive and proactive media engagements aligned to Janssen's Corporate Communications objectives, identifying opportunities for proactive communication, as well as reactive communication and issues management.
- Leading the copy approval of Janssen UK's Corporate Communications assets and materials.
- Collaboration with the broader Janssen UK Communications team (Therapy Area, Internal & Social & Digital) as well as Enterprise (J&J) and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and amplification of key activations.
Experience required:
- We are seeking a candidate with a high level of exposure to external corporate communications within the pharmaceutical industry, so you can make a difference from day one.
- You must have excellent knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and must have worked in a similar level of role previously.
