Documentation Specialist

Location: Leiden  

Duration: 12 months contract

Hours: 40h- 32h 

Mostly on-site role (hybrid is possible) 

Imagine your next role as a Documentation Specialist at Johnson & Johnson. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Work Instruction Translator to join our Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be translating GMP documentation from Dutch to English, ensuring our Quality system aligns with current market requirements. This role requires a strong technical understanding and knowledge of pharmaceutical processes and GMP standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Verify translated work instructions for accuracy and compliance with GMP standards.

• Route documents through the documentation process, ensuring correct GMP status.

• Collaborate closely with Operations departments.

• Review and approve routine GMP documentation for all components of the Quality system.

• Participate in inter-departmental improvement initiatives using the A3 process.

• Provide site support for local projects involving the Quality system.

• Act as a quality representative at routine site meetings and Quality on-the-floor activities.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

• BSc in a science-related subject and/or business-related area with some years of experience, or MSc in a science-related subject and/or business-related area with no experience.

• Demonstrated proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.

• Ability to manage diversity and conflicting viewpoints within the production teams.

• Strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills to understand and meet customer needs.
