roles and responsibilities

You will provide technical leadership for in-market product maintenance and regulatory-compliant design updates.

This will involve:

• Technical support for Life Cycle Management activities (product maintenance, design changes).

• Zertifizierung und Konformität bestehender Medizinprodukte gemäß IEC 60601 und IEC 62133.

• Support design changes (Change Requests), including technical assessment and documentation.

• Zusammenarbeit mit internen R&D-Teams sowie externen Entwicklungspartnern und Prüflaboren (EMV, Sicherheit, V&V).

• Conduct and support risk management and FMEAs.

• Erstellung und Pflege der technischen Dokumentation für regulatorische Zwecke (CE/FDA relevant).

how to succeed

You are a structured, solution-oriented engineer with a deep understanding of the rigorous standards required in a regulated environment.

You will also bring:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)

• 3–8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in medical devices

• Expertise in analog and digital circuit design, Microcontrollers, and power management

• Experience with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 60601, ISO 13485, CE, FDA)

• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

• Experience with battery-powered, handheld devices

• Kenntnisse über Lithium-Ionen-Batterien und bürstenlose Elektromotoren

• Proven ability to work with external suppliers and test laboratories
