Imagine your next role as an Electrical Specialist to be an expert in the field of electrical installations, equipment, and systems.

About the role

As an Electrical Specialist will be responsible for determining the risks associated with the work, drawing up plans for the electrical work, and choosing the right contractors for the work. Furthermore, you will be responsible for determining the correct working method, tools, & protective equipment, and you will be holding toolbox meetings with the contractors and other stakeholders. Also, you will be instructing the performer in the work, and providing supervision during the work.

Main Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and resolves electrical problems, coordinating external support when needed.

• Power Outage Response: Leads response to power failures, including diagnosis, repair, and restoration of power.

• Project Support: Supports electrical replacements and modifications, collaborating on design and implementation.

• Notification Management: Manages electrical notifications, prioritizing, scheduling, and completing work orders.

• Preventive Maintenance: Assists with preventive maintenance of electrical installations.

• Team Collaboration: Participates in meetings, provides electrical expertise, and supports problem-solving.

• Technical Advisor: Offers guidance on electrical best practices and solutions to other technicians.

• 5S Compliance: Ensures electrical rooms meet 5S standards for organization and safety.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

• Electrical Expertise: Deep understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

• Risk Assessment and Safety: Ability to identify electrical hazards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

• Contractor Management: Experience in selecting, managing, and overseeing external electrical contractors.

• Planning and Organization: Skilled in planning electrical work, including defining scope, methods, and resource requirements.

• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technicians, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Fluency in Dutch & English
