Location: Schaffhausen, Switzerland onsite 100%
Duration of the contract: 31st December (likely to be extended)
Hours per week: 80% or 100% onsite
Required: Qualified in Vorteil Ausbildung zur Brandschutzfachperson CFPA (Swissi), fluent in German & English

As a Facilities Engineer focused on Building and Fire Safety, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our infrastructure and the safety of our people. Working in a highly dynamic environment, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and life-saving safety protocols.
Facilities Engineer – Building Safety & Fire Safety roles and responsibilities You will support the planning, execution, and safe delivery of building and fire safety projects while acting as a subject matter expert across the site.
This will involve:
Plan and execute building safety and fire safety projects (e.g. sprinkler upgrades, safety hardware upgrades)
Project management
Acts as one of our fire safety and building safety SMEs
Support safety inspections, audits and interaction with authorities
Maintain risk assessments, documentation and training materials
Coordinate maintenance, inspections and repairs
Collaborate in a matrix organization with EHS, Engineering and Operations
how to succeed You are a technically minded engineer with a passion for safety standards and the discipline to manage complex projects in a regulated environment.
You will also bring:
Engineering degree or equivalent
Qualified in Vorteil Ausbildung zur Brandschutzfachperson CFPA (Swissi)
Experience with building or fire safety projects preferred
Fluent German (main working language) and very good English skills
Strong technical understanding and willingness to learn
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
