Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork

Working mode: 4-5 days per week on-site

Duration: 12 months (opportunity for a contract extension)

Hours: 39 hours per week

Imagine your next project as Financial Analyst. We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join the Cork team. Janssen Sciences Ireland established operations in Ringaskiddy in 2005. It produces biomedicines for both the treatment of immune related diseases and new cancer treatments. This position will act as a finance business partner to the site operations.

roles and responsibilities

  • Provide project financial support to their business partners

  • Support project financial for reviews with business partners

  • Support all major financial forecasting cycles (Business Plan, Quarterly updates and Long Range Financial Plan)

  • Support monthly/quarterly activities and providing appropriate analysis to the business

  • Develop, enhance and implement models to improve the financial reporting and business planning and decision-making processes suitable for the fast-paced environment

  • Support to project procurement process e.g. raising PO’s, GRN when goods & services are completed, following up on PO & Payment queries, etc

  • Support in the control the project costs of the facility


how to succeed

Education:

  • Part-Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant or Business Degree


Experience and Skills:

Preferred:

  • A minimum or 2 years finance experience

  • Experience in a complex multi-national/ environment

  • Proven track record in business environment


Key Proficiencies:

  • Results driven with a strong ownership and accountability for deliverables

  • Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Accuracy with attention to detail

  • Proactive, energetic and enthusiastic approach

  • Ability to build effective business relationships
