HR project manager 

The Netherlands, 1-year contract, 36h-40h, Hybrid way of work 

 

We are currently recruiting an HR project manager to join our contingent workforce on a growing team in Janssen Janssen Biologics, in Leiden for a 12-month contract.

In this role, you will be a team member of Janssen Biologics in Leiden which is a leading site for commercial & clinical manufacturing in the dynamic business of Biotherapeutics and Vaccines. 

 

As HR Project Manager you are responsible to lead projects in the area of talent acquisition and talent management. Examples of these projects are: widening our talent pool via structured recruitment from abroad and setting up a framework for more structured talent management across the site for Operators, Supervisors, and Lab professionals.

 

The purpose is to make our site future-proof by bringing the right talent on board on time, retaining and developing our current employees, and meeting the needs of our different business units in a structured and proactive way.

 

You as an HR project manager will:

  • Lead main projects in the area of talent management and talent acquisition. These projects involve multiple stakeholders in a complex, matrix, environment.
  • Report out to senior stakeholders in the steering committee.
  • See opportunities for improvements and don’t restrict yourself to the projects which are already identified.
  • Step in to solve HR and recruitment issues where necessary.
  • Drive broader HR activities like career development, training, diversity & inclusion, and culture & capability building. 

 

You as an HR project manager have:

  • A Bachelor/Master's education level with a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably with experience in a large multinational company.
  • Experience in a supply chain environment and in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical industry is a plus. 
  • The innovative and exploring mindset with great communication skills.
  • Excellent level of Dutch & English.
  • Stress resistance, adaptability, and you are able to work in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Strategic thinking and a “can-do” attitude.
