Imagine your next role as a Sourcing Activation & Engagement Manager who leads the design, development, and implementation of the strategic marketing plan to support the regional JLABS business, sourcing, and reputation priorities, in alignment with regional priorities for Johnson & Johnson Innovation. 



Summary of the role: 


You will be a trusted business partner and marketing subject matter expert for the JLABS Site Head to support delivery against business priorities such as strategic sourcing, occupancy rates, revenue targets, customer satisfaction, regional awareness as well as contribute to brand awareness for JJI and J&J. Oversee all external and internal engagements where the relevant JLABS site and/or portfolio is references including paid, earned, owned, and shared channels. Responsible for designing and implementing strategies that cultivate a vibrant community at for the local JLABS portfolio and communicate value-added services offerings, which includes collaboration across cross-functional teams


 


Key  responsibilities



  • In partnership with the JLABS Site Head, develop the vision, mission, and engagement strategy/plan to attract high potential, strategically aligned companies and drive value for current portfolio companies

  • Contribute to Johnson and Johnson Innovation's external engagement and activations across EMEA.

  • Partner with Communications colleagues across EMEA to support joint initiatives and amplify messaging as needed

  • Develop opportunities in the external engagement plan for the JLABS Head and share/coordinate all strategically aligned speaking and media opportunities with the Communication Lead for EMEA. 

  • Responsible for engaging the site portfolio to grow brand affinity and secure portfolio content to be utilized in the strategic engagement plan   

  • Design, develop, implement, and report on marketing initiatives for their local JLABS business priorities, inclusive of programming, marketing, and sponsorships 

  • Support JJI Global & Regional Sourcing activations locally, including planning, budgets, scheduling, speaker recruitment and management, marketing, registrations, delivery, and tracking project metrics. 

  • Partner with the Sourcing Activations Team sourcing initiative that occurs in the region.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for JJI and its component parts, as well as for JLABS, in the region. 


how to succeed


The ideal candidate will have:



  • Experience around 7  years in brand management, marketing, or related field

  • Bachelor of Science in marketing or related field 

  • Exceptional content marketing skills 

  • Ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts 

  • Strong executive presence 

  • Strong English writing skills

  • Analytical use of data 

  • Proactive, innovative, and results-driven mindset

  • Strong familiarity with a variety of digital tools and approaches to drive business results 

  • Ability to develop strategic initiatives to foster community development 

  • Good people skills, able to influence management and work cross-functionally

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize

  • detail-orientated personality with strong personal leadership skills. 

  • Exceptional event planning and production skills 

  • Experience with agency/contractor management

  • Ability to organize work towards deadlines and priorities on a daily basis, and to cope with a fast pace.
