Location: Visioncare, Limerick, Castletroy

Duration: 12 months

Hours: 39 hours per week - hybrid

roles and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the IT teams across Ireland and US, coordinating detailed schedules 

  • Develop and maintain the project plan, ensuring it aligns with the overall project goals and timelines.

  • Facilitate and guide the agile development process, ensuring the team follows agile principles and practices

  • Define and communicate project scope, objectives, and deliverables to the team.

  • Coordinate and lead regular agile meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews

  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Collaborate with teams and ensure clear communication between the MSP Team, Site Legacy Teams and Validation Teams

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

  • Regularly update and communicate progress and challenges to the team.

  • Generate and distribute status reports, including progress, issues, and risks.

  • Keep track of key project metrics

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

  • Conduct retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.

  • Encourage innovation and the adoption of new technologies or methodologies that may enhance project delivery.

  • Managing budgets and finances 


how to succeed

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to present to high level stakeholders and lead regular sharing sessions. You will be a team player and will be able to collaborate with various teams and management in various locations. You will also have:

  • Educational - Min BA Degree in IT or Engineering or related discipline

  • Experience working in a GxP / GMP environment 

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in managing large scale IT projects

  • Good knowledge and experience of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

  • Experience managing Finances / budgets in projects 

  • Good working knowledge of MS Project and Jira (preferred)

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month duration and has a strong chance of extension. Hybrid role, days can be discussed.
