Hours: 40 hours, Hybrid working (6 months assignment with possible extension)

The Role:
This position will have accountability for the IT Services linked to the infrastructure, to the End Users Support and to the applications development and support organizations (across multiple sites)
The position will be based in Groningen, NL and will remotely cover two additional J&J Vision sites located in Eindhoven, NL and Uppsala, Sweden. The total number of people to be supported across the three sites is about 800.
The ideal candidate should have experience with manufacturing business processes and their related IT needs, have very good communication skills (Dutch + English) and be customer focused.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End delivery of infrastructure and application development & support services
Perform assessment, develop plan, and support models for all Manufacturing systems
Determine optimization opportunities and execute to result in reduced Total cost of ownership while maintain established Service Levels. Establish standard processes.
Manage extended, global, enterprise teams of internal and external professionals.
Participate in the business planning activities (budgets, projects and resource planning). Interview, hire and manage outside contractors as required.
Execute Vendor optimization strategies and optimized support models
Ensure execution excellence in the delivery of I/T objectives and delivering. Ensure IT compliance
Delivery on best practices and solutions to align to standards of the Shared Services organizations.
Internal - Partnering with IT leaders to define and prioritize a portfolio of solutions that transform and standardize capabilities across J&J Enterprise
External - Partner with vendors to define and monitor contracts and SLA’s.
Additional tasks:
Accountable for all aspects of delivery of Technology Services to the site, within the agreed SLAs
Engagement with the Site Business leadership team and with the IT Business Technology Lead
Ensure the IT Reliability of the sites
Ensure the delivery of the projects defined in the portfolio.
End-to-end IT risk management at the site including lifecycle management and information security
Ensure compliance with GxP and validation processes
Manage vendors who are developing applications and who are providing the related support.
Communicate with end users and with key internal stakeholders (IT and business)
Provide with innovative ways of working and propose systems improvements.
how to succeed:
10 years’ experience supporting Supply Chain Manufacturing Systems required
Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent
Expert experience in GxP systems, Computer System Validation and proven track record in the support of FDA regulated systems and business
Experience in application development and support
Training with certification (Green or Black Belt) in Process and/or Design Excellence
Training in Process Mapping and Design
Working knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks including but not limited to ITIL
Proven track record in optimizing processes and delivering upon cost reduction challenges
Expert communication skills required including at the executive level
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps concepts
