This position has accountability for the technology/performance/portfolio of the standard and local products in the DePuy Synthes Cork plat. In addition, it has the responsibility to ensure that the IT products that support the manufacturing site are coordinated efficiently to deliver application roadmap strategies using Agile and Release Management. The Site Leader leads the Financial total cost of ownership for site JJT operations and has input and coordination on investment prioritization.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Actively own the Plant IT Ecosystem. Ownership of local IT products and work towards standard product offerings.

  • Lead/Support all related IT Project and Portfolio Implementations and related investments.

  • Drives collaboration and execution with internal and external partners

  • Active Site Leadership Team member on site.

  • Program and Service Manager: Tracks progress of product development and deployment using Agile Release Management

  • In Collaboration with the technical support team, responds to user problems, explains new technologies, and presents solutions

  • Forms positive relationships with internal business partners by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively

  • Effective teamwork on quality/compliance/cyber security remediation and improvement initiatives

  • Successful implementation of process and system improvement projects

  • Budget, estimate the return on investment and business value, secure funding, plan and execute initiatives of digital transformation, data strategy, and advanced analytics as well as Technology Lifecycle Management Activities partnering with business and IT teams

  • Partner with build and run teams of applications as well as infrastructure and automation support teams to achieve the desired reliability to meet business objectives


How to Succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years of IT product (application) management design, and solution in the deployment of major IT capabilities (like manufacturing/shop floor systems); people management experience.

  • Good Communication skills. Shown ability to work efficiently with business and technology partners to understand business requirements.

  • Experience working in a Shared Services model where development and support services are provided by virtual, multi-location, multi-functional teams

  • Leadership experience in building teams with the above capabilities

Preferred:

  • Life Science industry IT systems experience

  • Experience in project execution utilizing Agile / JIRA / rRDM methodology

  • Project delivery experience
