roles and responsibilities

In this role you will be part of the Lab Operation ELM team. In this team you will focus on supporting the introduction of new Equipment and maintain the life cycle of the equipment. Day to day duties will require you to:

  • Support the Lab operation Automation team focusing on multiple software applications, mainly Empower, but also Chromeleon, Unifi, ICE3

  • Provide automation support on Lab Systems - the quality of data management, systems processes, and standards (leverage on existing and implement new technologies) need to be supported and need to be improved continuously

  • Support NPI’s and base business when urgent challenges and provide creative solutions to enable solutions.  Support different aspects during ELM, think of introduction, decommissioning and documentation.

  • Equipment Validations 

  • Write/update SOPs (esp. computer systems), support data integrity (DI), contribute to computerized system validation (CSV)

  • Data Integrity is very important, therefore user requirements of (current and new) systems need to be translated into technical specifications and systems need to follow the set DI standards.



requirements

  • Bachelor in Life Sciences or Computer Sciences

  • Hands-on experience with Empower software (method setup, reporting, custom fields, or troubleshooting)

  • Affinity with (laboratory) data acquisition and processing software, use of database systems (and visual reporting considered as a plus

  • Knowledge and use of GMP Quality systems

  • Interpersonal skills engaged in contact with personnel at all levels within the organization.

  • Written and oral communication skills in English. Dutch is desirable.

  • Planning skills, ability to prioritize multiple commitments.

  • Analytical thinking and (technical) problem solving. 

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Pro Active, works independently, takes actions in case there is a problem

  • This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. 

  • This contract will run for a 12 month duration. 

  • The role is initially on-site and may lead to hybrid after a few months. 

  • Will consider 32 - 40 hours per week
