The Project:

To work with the packaging and labelling team to support all artwork, IFU and labelling initiatives and projects on behalf of the Blackpool and Leeds sites for both new and existing products

 

The Role:

  • 6 Month Contract
  • £17-19 p/h PAYE
  • Hybrid- based in either Leeds or Blackpool


 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To create and modify labels on supply chain projects. 
  • To progress assigned projects, as core team member, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements 
  • Develop a good knowledge of labelling processes, project management, and collaboration across departments and facilities. 
  • To create label specifications and related documentation in DePuy Synthes Document Management Systems. 
  • To apply design or process excellence tools towards the accomplishment of assigned goals.
  • To develop innovative initiatives and design methodology to improve business performance 
  • Build effective cross functional relationships and contribute to achieving a high performance team environment 
  • To ensure procedures, specifications and work instructions produced comply with the companies quality standards and are maintained ready for audits.
  • Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws   governing business and quality operations
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, international and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.


 

Professional Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Experience of working in design or graphic design industry/environment
  • Labelling software experience


 

Other Requirements:

  • Graphic design understanding-ability to translate into workable artwork solutions
  • Experience of working with controlled quality systems.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize time effectively between multiple tasks and projects
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working within an Operations environment
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to build relationships and liaise with multiple departments on and off site
  • Ability to communicate/translate artwork requirement to suppliers
  • Computer Literacy


 

In Return:

In return for this role you will receive a very competitive hourly rate. A minimum 6 month contract & an opportunity to work with a Global Leader within the Pharmaceutical sector, Johnson & Johnson.
