Imagine your next project coordinating critical quality control activities for ground-breaking CAR-T cancer therapies.
The Janssen Supply Chain Group is recruiting for a vital role within the CAR-T hub in Europe. You will act as the bridge between internal manufacturing and external contract laboratories, ensuring life-saving therapies reach patients safely and on time through rigorous sample management and testing oversight.
roles and responsibilities.
This will involve:
Organize, plan, and follow up on sample collection and shipment to external laboratories.
Coordinate QC testing activities carried out by contract labs, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
Check and assess QC results for compliance in the eLIMS system.
Follow up on deviations, OOS/OOT results, and investigations at external labs, including root cause analysis and CAPAs.
Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with GMP, internal SOPs, and relevant regulations.
Act as the point of contact between internal teams (QA, QC, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) and external laboratories.
Identify and propose improvements in processes related to outsourced QC activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in Quality Control within a GMP environment and the ability to manage complex data and stakeholders independently.
You will also bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Bio)Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or equivalent.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in QC, QA, or a laboratory environment (preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry).
Solid knowledge of GMP and quality standards is essential.
Experience with eLIMS (or similar electronic lab management systems) is required.
Experience with outsourcing or collaboration with external laboratories is a strong asset.
Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory; Dutch is strongly preferred.
Flexibility to perform job functions across different local sites (Ghent/Beerse area).
Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
