Logistics Data Analyst


Location: Beerse (hybrid working) 


Hours: 40 hours, contract role Dec 31st 


Essential: Strong data analysis skills ideally within a supply chain environment, Tableau, PowerBI essential



The Team


The Logistics Data Analyst is part of the global Logistics team in CSC, and more specifically of the team that implements Logistics Strategic Capabilities. This function, who works closely with Digital Solutions in CSC, is critical for transforming raw data into actionable insights to enhance logistics efficiency, drive business processes, and improve overall operational performance.




Key Responsibilities:


Data Ingestion:

  • In line with priorities set, support collection and integration of data from various (logistics) sources

  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ingestion process


Data Visualization:

  • Develop, adjust and optimize (existing) interactive dashboards and visual reports to present logistics performance metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Use visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to make complex data easily understandable for stakeholders and facilitate data-driven decision-making


Collaboration with Business Units (Liaison role):

  • Act as point of contact between business team and CSC Dig Solutions team where needed; facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams

  • Work closely with business teams to define specific use cases that address operational needs or strategic objectives, ensuring that data aligns with business goals

  • Gather and analyze requirements to understand the data needs of different stakeholders and propose appropriate solutions for data access and reporting

  • Continuous Improvement: execute, or provide additional support in continuous improvement initiatives as needed


Insights Generation:

  • Analyze logistics data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization within the supply chain



Required Qualification & Skills:


  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Data Science, etc.) or equivalent experience

  • 5-7 Years of Related Experience

  • Supply Chain and Logistics experience

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data management/visualization tools (PowerBI and Tableau)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Being fluent in English is required

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment

  • Experience in project management is a plus
