This is a 12-month contract position for a Logistics Quality Specialist (Non-Conformance focus) based in Beerse, Belgium. The role supports a team of 18 professionals focused on global logistics and requires 40 hours per week in a hybrid working model (1 day per week on-site).

The team manages a complex logistics environment involving multiple external couriers. Key challenges include shipment damages, delivery errors, and the need for a high sense of urgency to close cases within required timelines.

Start Date: ASAP (with training alignment for September 1st).

roles and responsibilities

• Process Ownership: Managing the end-to-end process for Non-Conformances (NCs) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), including case closure and data logging.

• Reporting & Governance: Preparing and presenting data for CAPA board meetings, tracking KPIs, and performing root cause analysis.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engaging with external couriers, logistics integrators, and internal Quality Assurance (QA) teams to drive investigations and resolutions.

• Process Improvement: Contributing to process documentation and upskilling staff to prevent future quality issues.

• Own and manage NC records throughout their lifecycle within COMET.

• Ensure timely initiation, investigation, escalation, and closure of NCs, CAPAs, and Actions.

• Coordinate investigations with Logistics Integrators, QA, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Review root cause analyses and corrective/preventive actions for completeness and effectiveness.

• Monitor due dates, identify risks to timeliness, and proactively drive resolution.

• Develop NC knowledge and capability across the Logistics Integration organization.

• Support maintenance of documentation, procedures, and training materials.

• Provide backup coverage for other NC SMEs.

• Own NC performance tracking and KPI reporting.

• Present records and status updates at CAPA Boards when required.

• Escalate systemic issues, resource constraints, and compliance risks to leadership.

how to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Life Sciences, Quality, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in GxP-regulated operations, quality systems, or clinical supply chain logistics.

• Strong knowledge of NC, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and Quality Management Systems.

• Experience with COMET, TrackWise, or equivalent quality platforms.

• Strong analytical, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Proven ability to drive investigations across complex cross-functional organizations.

• NC and CAPA closure timeliness.

• Reduction in overdue records.

• Reduction in record extensions.

• Quality and effectiveness of root cause investigations.

• Successful development of organizational NC capability and backup coverage.
