We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join our contingent workforce in Janssen in Leiden for an initial one-year contract.

What will you do:
As an (associate) maintenance engineer at Janssen Biologics you are responsible to prioritize the work orders
(corrective and preventive) and will also request and rationalize the budget request for OPEX expenses.
Together with the Senior maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for the multi-year asset replacement plan (LCM). And also on defining and executing the maintenance strategy. This strategy must contribute to growing reliability while seeking a balance with maintenance costs.
You will take the lead in organizing and managing a dedicated team of mechanics/technicians in order to tackle the day-to-day maintenance challenges. All while keeping Safety, Compliance, and GMP standards in high regard.
The introduction of new equipment also offers you the chance to participate in (inter-) site projects and global J&J initiatives. When working on projects you will be exposed to many different nationalities which are part of the Janssen Biologics family and you will be coordinating your strategy with other sites around the world.

- Bs. Degree in a relevant area of Maintenance
- Strong electrical skill
- Experience in a strong GMP-regulated industry (pre)
- Skills of: Managing site assets, ME2/ RCM principles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills with good leadership abilities and a customer-centric mentality
