Who are we:
We are the maintenance team of Janssen Biologics, and our team takes care of the production and utility equipment to support the production process.
We improve the reliability of our installations, facilities and buildings at our site in Leiden. Many parties are involved, both internally and externally, in our core tasks, ensuring the health and safety of our patients, our employees and our environment is an important focus of the maintenance team.
In addition to our production facility in Leiden, a new Janssen Supply Chain Lentiviral Vector (LCC) production facility is currently under construction in Sassenheim, the Netherlands, which will be organized as a new business unit for Janssen Biologics.
This biologics manufacturing facility will become a key delivery option for commercial LVV in support of the global Janssen BCMA CAR-T program for multiple myeloma, a disease that affects approximately 160,000 patients annually.
Key Responsibilities: As a Maintenance engineer
You will support the Business System Owner (BSO) Clean utilities water systems (WDI, WFI) and gasses.
Support the management of the GMP water and gasses asset package, which is able to meet the delivery requirements of the production facility. This means that the utilities are delivered with optimal reliability, quality and costs.
Collaborate with the maintenance department, utilities operation and engineer, for the relevant assets, plan for longer -term investments. With input from the BSO and you, these plans are then converted into “need statements”, CAPEX reservation/requests, and presented verbally during budget rounds.
During the realization of the investments you will be closely involved in the management of change (MoC; the design, commissioning, qualification and delivery to ensure that you can support the future owner receive an installation that meets the desired reliability, quality and operational requirements.
In addition to your own efforts and skills, you will be guided by the BSO of the GMP water systems / gasses and a team of skilled engineers and utility operators.
how to succeed:
We are looking for a candidate with at least a Technical HBO Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in a highly regulated (Pharmaceutical/GMP) industry is an advantage.
Minimal 2 years work experience with GMP water systems (WDI/WFI).
Leadership qualities to allow a team to deliver informally.
Good communciation skills (verbal and written) at least in English.
Familiar with P&ID’s
Compliance and quality awareness is an advantage
SAP or other CCMS system knowlegde is an advantage
