Imagine your next role as a Maintenance Technician / Equipment Engineer to take care of the entire Asset Maintenance Management for assigned Assets and to support the introduction of new assets and modification projects.




Responsibilities


  • Takes care of the entire Asset Maintenance Management for assigned Assets

  • Plans, schedules, supervises and executes preventive/corrective maintenance and calibration activities for process and lab equipment.

  • Performs first-line troubleshooting 

  • Performs visual inspection or testing of equipment on both process and lab equipment.

  • Guides third parties (contractors) during the execution of their work.

  • Guarantees safety on the shopfloor in the handling of equipment, tools, chemicals, and use of protective equipment.

  • Ensures protocols and procedures are followed in the handling of equipment, tools, chemicals, and use of protective equipment to ensure compliance (EHS and Q) with amongst others Good Maintenance and Manufacturing Practices. 

  • Ensures maintenance logs, part requisitions, preventive maintenance inspection records, and other maintenance documentation are updated following every maintenance.

  • Reviews and archives service reports that belong to the maintenance and initiate follow-up if required.

  • Act as breakdown owner over work orders and is responsible for the execution, reporting, and archiving of the breakdown.

  • Identifies possible improvement modifications of their assigned assets.

  • Performs administrative tasks (archives service reports, does SAP administration, and asset status labeling).

  • Takes care of the work-permits process.

  • Executes spare parts management activities.

  • Provides input for EHS compliance (IOSS and curve records).

  • Ensures good housekeeping of EVM-owned areas.

  • Keeps up to date with the latest developments by studying technical documentation





how to succeed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An MBO in technical disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or similar

  • Around 2 years of a relevant experience 

  • Proven experience as Technician in a technical environment

  • An accurate and result-oriented personality who is stress-resistant and knows how to work well in a team.
