MASTER PRODUCTION PLANNER


Location: Schaffhausen, Switzerland

Duration: 12 Months contract (hybrid working 3 days onsite 2 days home office)

Essential:  Fluent in English, German conversational, 3 years + production planning experience, ideally from pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or food industry,experience with SAP MM or PP modules

As a Master Production Planner, you are the heartbeat of our supply chain in Schaffhausen. You will bridge the gap between global demand and local production excellence, ensuring our patients receive the treatments they need without delay. You will act as a strategic partner to Global Value Stream Leaders and local Quality teams to optimize capacity and lead scenario planning.

You will be accountable for the local E2E product flow and performance, acting as the primary point of contact for Customer Management and upstream plants.



This will involve:

  • Owning product-specific planning KPIs and MPS generation.

  • Optimizing production schedules based on customer demand and available capacity.

  • Managing material planning and identifying supply constraints in the 6-to-24-month horizon.

  • Leading SRM preparation and reporting to support site management decisions.

  • Identifying cost improvement and lean opportunities within the local value stream.

  • Ensuring full compliance with GMP, EHS, and SOX requirements.

You are a resilient supply chain professional who thrives in a matrix environment. You combine high analytical quantitative skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

You will also bring:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree or APICS certification preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, or Supply Chain, preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proficiency in SAP is highly preferable MM or PP

  • Fluency in both English and German is required.

  • Strong interdependent partnering skills and a "change agent" mindset.
