Imagine your next role as a Material Management Specialist where you will evaluate all incoming material issues and assess how, when, and who should solve them.
Mitigations to stockouts include engineering out-of-the-box solutions, finding suitable replacements within other processes, sites, or manufacturers, and designing new long-term solutions together with manufacturers (user requirements, technical specifications, process requirements, and parameters, etc.). Besides this, the team is responsible for managing all GMP records to ensure compliance when we change manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities
Form the connection between planning, manufacturing, and expert departments to elucidate (change in) demand and purpose of materials
Designing solutions for material stockouts based on available options
Govern GMP records related to material issues
Perform assessments together with SMEs to assess the suitability of solutions
Escalations when there is a possible impact on the production schedule
SLOB management
Project support: Material management input on consumption changes, material design/lead times, planning, and requesting master data
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
A BSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Analytical (Bio)Chemistry or related field with a strong protein and/or excipients background with several years of experience.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English (preference: also Dutch)
Pro-active can-do attitude & independency
Experience working within a GMP environment is a plus
