roles and responsibilities
You will support the Medical Squad Leads in the approval of promotional activities in accordance with relevant legislation.
This will involve:
Supporting the Medical Squad Leads in review and approval of promotional materials and activities in accordance with applicable Codes of Practice and regulations, Company policy and any other relevant regulations
Supporting the Medical Squad Leads with campaign and brand development initiatives
Conducting literature searches to be used in support of new claims and regulatory submissions
Partner and collaborate with internal departments as appropriate e.g., Hub Marketing, Regulatory Affairs (UK/Ireland/Nordics), Customer Development, Shopper Marketing, Customer Services, and Commercial Activation Managers (Ireland/Nordics)
Reviewing product entries to be included within industry publications (i.e., OTC directory, PAGB directory etc.)
Participate in the production of written documents, including clinical overviews and umbrella branding statements to be submitted to regulatory agencies as required
Responding to third party outsourcing agents on medical information enquiries for J&J products across UK, Ireland, and Nordics
Assisting with development and maintenance of department systems including Veeva PromoMats
Creating and updating training presentations/materials for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure external stakeholders (e.g., PAGB) are informed of new product launches or discontinuations in a timely manner
Updating and populating department databases such as the Core Claims Database for UK products.
how to succeed
This role will suit a junior pharmacist or a newly graduate who is looking for an opportunity to grow their career within the pharmaceutical industry. No formal industry experience is required for this role; however, experience via a sandwich placement year would be an advantage
You will also bring:
Degree in Pharmacy or a Life Science
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to build and establish strong and productive relationships
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrates proactivity and potential to use individual initiative
Strong and effective communicator
Excellent standard of written English
Ability to prioritise work effectively
Ability to collaborate with teams and individuals

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a minimum of 10 months and has a strong chance of extension.
