Microbiology Technician 

Location: Blackpool (Site based) 

Hours: 37

Start date: As soon as possible 

Contract Length: 3 months

Hourly Pay Rates: £11.50 PAYE

Role Responsibilities:

• Supports the performance of simple physical, chemical and mechanical tests of products and processes. 
• Assists in analysing compounds and managing corporate compound collection. 
• Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments. 
• Prepares chemical solutions. 
• Tests solutions used in various processes. 
• Tests samples to verify conformity to specifications. 
• Records test results on standardised forms and writes results; cleans and sterilises lab equipment.
