Imagine your next project facilitating the seamless transition of life-changing pharmaceutical innovations from the laboratory to the global marketplace.

As a Technical Launch Integrator (TLI), you have overall accountability for ensuring fit for plant and commercial readiness during technical development and execution of the transfer of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and products into the supply chain. You will serve as the single point of contact for the manufacturing site, leading the new production introduction team and partnering with R&D to guide process development and site selection.


roles and responsibilities.

You will lead the integration of new and re-developed manufacturing processes from R&D into the supply chain while maintaining high standards of performance and cost-efficiency.

This will involve:

  • Prepares, jointly with R&D, the product development roadmap as strategic framework to guide process development, the manufacturing site selection, the financial and supply chain decisions in the governance bodies.

  • Serves as the leader of the product specific site team, as the JSC technical representative on the CMC Subteam, R&D SI Subteam and as site representative on the Value Chain Team (VCT).

  • Develops the manufacturing site execution plan per product and ensures alignment within the manufacturing site and TLI function.

  • Coordinates and executes product introduction at the site from transfer from R&D through launch, covering raw materials and process integration.

  • Delivers clinical through commercial supply from the manufacturing site ensuring manufacturing performance, cost, and robustness requirements are met.

  • Provides required manufacturing technical support, documented technical input, review, and approval and serves as the JSC technical expert.

  • Partners with R&D and provide early process design inputs to R&D to improve fit for plant and commercialization of new products into the supply chain.

  • Represents JSC in all Tech Transfer (BPAL, DfM, PF2P, COGS, INR, ...) activities during the development process.

  • Responsible for delivering a manufacturing process capable of meeting the GP profitability targets together with R&D.


how to succeed.

You are a technical expert with a deep understanding of drug product manufacturing and a strategic mindset capable of managing complex projects in an international environment.

You will also bring:

  • Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical development or manufacturing arena.

  • Knowledge of plant functionality, plant capacity and COG calculation.

  • Business acumen including sourcing strategies and financial impact.

  • Experience with Compliance Wire, SUMMIT, Trackwise, and SAP.

  • Ability to solve complex problems independently and influence stakeholders across all levels.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
