Event Process Specialist


Location: Beerse

Duration: 6 months

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Event Process Specialist acts as an event coordinator for all types of events which include a Transfer of Value to HCPs, HCOs, Patient Organizations and/or other healthcare stakeholders. The coordinator role requires an intensive partnering with internal and external business partners during all event phases: from event creation to event execution and to post-event follow-up activities.


In order to act as an event coordinator, the Event Process Specialist has a good knowledge of applicable rules and regulations concerning HCBI, Mdeon/EFPIA, Disclosure, Tax, Finance and Procurement. The Event Process Specialist acts as a subject matter expert and advises internal stakeholders about the actual regulations and applies them during execution. He/she ensures all processes and procedures are strictly followed and correct systems are used, resulting in compliance, quality and transparency. 


roles and responsibilities

  • Ensure flawless end-to-end coordination of events with Transfer of Value. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure events are being executed on time, according to scope and within budget & Mdeon rules. Collect learnings and give feedback to event owners during the full event cycle (creation phase, execution phase and post-event phase).

  • Continuously strive for innovative improvements, efficiencies and enhancements related to events with Transfer of Value.   

  • Maintain knowledge of rules and regulations concerning HCBI, Mdeon/EFPIA, Disclosure and Tax/VAT up-to-date and apply whenever applicable.

  • Maintain knowledge of applicable processes, procedures and systems up-to-date.

  • Act as HCC gatekeeper towards the internal BELUX stakeholders. 

  • Liaise with external stakeholders about event-related topics (including but not limited to AMEX, Mdeon, HCP’s, HCO’s and Patient organizations). 


how to succeed

You will have:

  • Languages: Dutch, English and/or French language, written as well as spoken.

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualifications.

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience, ie: 

    • Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills. 

    • Knowledge and application of compliance, laws, regulations and industry standards of the BELUX pharmaceutical market.

    • Demonstration of pro-activity, ownership, multi-disciplinary collaboration, flexibility and agility.  

    • Impactful communication (inform, advise, coordinate and evaluate). 

    • Ability to take accountability for own actions. 

    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and to manage conflicts in an open and constructive manner.

    • Ability to make progress through managing a broad set of Credo based values.

    • Ability to work independently within procedural frameworks.

    • Ability to act in a flexible way and deal with environmental changes.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. 

This contract will run for 6 months with potential for extension.
