Location: Geel, Belgium
Duration: 12 months initially
Hours: 40 hours per week

roles and responsibilities
In this role, your main focus will be maintaining manufacturing readiness and implementing efficiency improvements for assigned processes, while still ensuring that safety, environmentally sound practices and quality are embedded in everything you do. This will involve:
Follow-up and optimization of assigned chemical processes.
Campaign preparation and support of process-related non-conformance investigations.
Capacity optimizations and process improvements for the assigned processes.
Support of daily activities in production (ie. Troubleshooting, campaign follow-up, process validation, etc.)
Representation for production activities in local or global teams (ex. API technical teams, transfer teams, lean project teams, process excellence projects, equipment installation projects, etc.)
Audit support
Preferred- Generation of reports/dashboards and review of process performance through statistical analysis of process data
how to succeed
You will be able to combine scientific and administrative accuracy with good social and communication skills, be a motivated, self-starter able to work independently with demonstrated problem solving skills and will be a teamplayer. You will also bring:
Degree in Engineering or Science (bioscience engineering, industrial engineering or chemistry is preferred, Master/PhD Degree or Equivalent.
Fluent in written and spoken Flemish / Dutch and English
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes & products and/or equipment especially in Chemical synthesis.
Knowledge of API manufacturing site systems and procedures.
Knowledge of process development and required analytics in Chemical synthesis preferred.
Experience in IT/automation systems/data mining and/or Data analytics, is highly valued.
benefits
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month duration and has a chance of extension. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site and 2 days from home)
Meal vouchers of €7 for each worked day.
€80 net allowance monthly for expenses ('onkostenvergoeding')
€250 in Eco vouchers yearly (If worked full time for a whole year. If not, this will be calculated on a pro rata basis.)

13th month pay / Year-end bonus. (Requirement: 6 months with Ausy/Randstad Professionals)
