Process Specialist 


Location: Bern, Switzerland

Hours: 40h

Hybrid way of working, on-site 3 days per week 



Imagine your next role as a Process Specialist who will collaborate and maintain effective, sustainable, and compliant stock management in accordance with global guidelines, considering local needs.



Key responsibilities: 


  • Monitor and actively follow up on departmental actions in the context of the Site Quality System

  • Initiate and coordinate change controls related to material management

  • Collaborate with Business Operations and other departments of site Bern or other sites / resp. global departments to ensure effective customer service throughout the supply chain 

  • Establish effective communication with internal stakeholders to identify options for improving performance and achieving greater stability in material management processes

  • Observe and comply with the required SOPs and WIs and initiate updates if required 

  • Identify and proactively support continuous improvements related to the design and review of material management processes

  • Collaborate with and coordinate projects related to material management

  • Support the Compliance Team Leader with Team KPI-reporting activities

  • Compliance with GMP, EHS, and SOX specifications and guidelines associated with the respective function

  • Adherence to safety, accident prevention, and hygiene regulations.

  • Special & additional tasks as instructed by the supervisor

  • Delivery on annual goals & objectives, guided by Our Credo and Leadership Imperatives

  • Cross-departmental and cross-site collaboration, customer/ stakeholder feedback

  • Business Operations department metrics § Quality, EHS, HR, and Finance metrics

  • Credo Survey results




how to succeed:

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, economics, or business administration

  • Good communication and negotiation skills in English and preferably in German too 

  • Several years of professional experience in SCM

  • Proficiency in MS Office package  Several years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry and GMP environment Experience with quality system management tools

  • Deep knowledge of SAP PP/MM

  • Technical experience in production in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus

  • Results and performance driven

  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and flexible

  • Accuracy and ability to handle high amounts of information

  • Demonstrates problem-solving and analytical capabilities

  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Capable to adapt to changing circumstances and can implement change in a positive manner

This role offers a competitive hourly rate & a supportive working environment. The role will run initially for a year and the first contract is initially until 31/12/2024.
