Location: We are looking for talent in Switzerland (Schaffhausen), Ireland (Cork), Belgium (Beerse) or Netherlands (Leiden)
Working mode: Hybrid, 3 days on-site and 2 WFH
Duration: 12 months initially (opportunity for a contract extension)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Hourly rate: Competitive hourly rate
Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced external Quality Assurance expert to provide specialized advisory and support services in the area of Product Quality. The contractor will collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective management of quality documentation, data evaluation, communication, and compliance related to products within the J&J portfolio, including products under discontinuation.
roles and responsibilities
Document Management: Access and extract product-related documents from J&J computer systems such as TruVault, Comet, SharePoint, and others. Manage documents including APR, PQR, stability data, Change Control records, and other quality records. Collect stakeholders input, update documentation, and ensure proper system documentation up to cGMP.
Data Collection & Evaluation: Collaborate with the Product Quality Management (PQM) department, and cross functions, with manufacturing sites, QC laboratories and any other relevant functions to gather and evaluate product data. Ensure all data is accurately documented and compliant with quality standards.
Communication & Presentations: Prepare PowerPoint presentations and communication decks in English that summarize product quality assessments, risk evaluations, and other relevant insights for stakeholders.
Documentation & Standardization: Write and update key quality documents including Playbooks, Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Agreements, and risk management plans, ensuring alignment with internal governance and industry standards.
Meetings Management: Lead and facilitate meetings such as Communities of Practice (CoP) and other forums as per governance models. Track action items, follow up on next steps, and ensure timely completion of activities.
how to succeed
Master of Science (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Eng)
Proven experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of document management systems.
Experience with product data analysis, quality record management, and risk assessments.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Ability to prepare clear, concise technical presentations and documentation.
Demonstrated leadership in facilitating meetings and coordinating cross-functional activities.
Familiarity with J&J quality standards, GMP, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and address urgent issues proactively.
High level of integrity and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
