Mentor Medical Systems BV, located in Leiden the Netherlands, is recruiting for a Program manager for a period of 18-24 months.

Mentor Medical Systems BV is known worldwide as a world-class manufacturer and supplier of medical products. We offer a position in a fast-growing, diverse, and international organization as we have been part of the big American pharmacist, Johnson & Johnson, since 2009. The company's headquarters are located in Santa Barbara, California (USA). We, as Mentor Leiden, develop and produce high-quality breast implants that are used in plastic surgery.

Mentor Leiden is starting a project to install a different Shell fabrication machine to increase the site's capacity. This project will contain outsourcing of processes, reconstruction within the current building including CME areas, relocation of departments, installation of new process equipment, and validation of all new areas and types of machinery. This all will be organized within the desired working method, J&J Credo, Safety and environment requirements, GMP regulations, and ISO and quality standards.

As Program Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and implementation of the complete project and will ensure together with the team that the project will be a success! You will ensure that the project timelines, capital, and scope are respected. As Program Manager, you are the first point of contact towards the sponsors and higher management and will report on a regular base towards them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all project deliverables starting from design and ending with the handover of a working production line
• Responsible for key project KPIs like timelines, capital, and scope
• Reporting the status of the projects on a regular basis to sponsors and higher management
• Managing the project team in an inspirational way

Qualifications

Education: 

•  Bachelor in a technical area

Experience & Skills

Required:

• Project/Program Manager background with 5 to 7 years in the medical / pharma industry and capable of structuring and managing a team
• Experience in leading projects with design phases, construction in production sites and CME areas, installation and validation of production equipment, and tech transfer to operations
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project experience (Regulatory, facilities, building modifications, production equipment, etc
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to ensure good communication with the team, the internal customer, and other stakeholders. English is required, and Dutch is appreciated

Preferred:

• Proven experience in a Medical device environment is helpful.
