Imagine your next role as a Project Engineer. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our site in Schaffhausen, Switzerland and be responsible for: 


⦁ Execution of technical projects in an interdisciplinary environment

⦁ Hand over of equipment(s) / infrastructure to production / Technical Services (Costumer)

⦁ Project realization according to time schedule, cost, and assurance of design compliance (FPX)

⦁ Key contact to equipment suppliers




Key responsibilities: 


  • Compliance with the GMP, EHS and SOX requirements and guidelines, which are connected to the respective function.

  • Project management (time, cost, quality) within CAPEX projects including process equipment, utilities, infrastructure for JSC Schaffhausen

  • Coordination of external and internal employees / partners

  • Translation of user requirements into engineering specifications

  • Provides process engineering support for large capital projects, key in design development.

  • Manages new product introduction and is Iiaison between production and TO

  • Transfer of engineering specifications to design firms

  • Review of all process equipment design issues in view to technology, quality, compliance (cGMP) and safety (SHE)

  • Compliance of process equipment with GMP-guidelines and safety regulations

  • Support preparation of Qual./Val. protocols

  • Technical solution finding (Engineering, evaluation, presentation of solution etc.)

  • Team support on technical questions (Interdisciplinary activity)

  • Responsible for execution of technical Inspections, FAT, SAT and qualification steps till OQ completion and support preparation of Qual./Val. protocols

  • Project and timeline coordination with equipment suppliers

  • Support production and maintenance team during startup to ensure a smooth hand over

  • Assurance of observing GMP- and SHE- standards within project realization

  • Review and cost controlling in a defined range

  • Encourage innovation

  • Identification of potential for using lean principles.

  • Lead or collaboration in Lean projects project actuals together with finance





how to succeed:

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles relevant to the projects at hand.

  • Proficiency in project-specific technologies, tools, and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

  • Experience in managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion.

  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and equipment suppliers.

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities to lead project teams and drive them toward common goals.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of problems and develop effective solutions.

  • Adaptability to handle unexpected challenges and changes in project scope.

  • Commitment to ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and design specifications.

  • Rigorous attention to detail to identify discrepancies and deviations.

  • Fluent in German language
