Location: Blackpool
Working mode: On-site (some flexibility to occasionally work from home)
Duration: 12 months (opportunity for a contract extension)
Travel: Expectation to travel internationally twice per year
Hours: 37 hours per week

Project Sparks - ETN PROtect Workstream Lead
This position is responsible for being the new Workstream Lead for a medical device dip coating process. The device is a product that slowly releases Gentamicin after implantation. This role focuses on building a focused team that will deliver a network transformation project against aggressive timelines. The role is being built out of a currently existing team who are already well underway with another pillar of the technology transfer but this product presents specific technical and regulatory challenges that are deserving of its own focused lead. The core of the role is to ensure that a suitable process is developed, validated, and ready for Regulatory Submission by Dec ’25. To deliver on this the role will have a supporting team available to cover the validation, project, design, and testing aspects of the transfer. Support teams within the Project ecosystem will be directly involved in ensuring a full End-To-End process is developed and delivered.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build their work load around their personal development plan, with scope to learn skills from other departments whilst still delivering on their core role.
roles and responsibilities
Co-Ordinate and own the manufacture and validation process
Deliver the validation and production strategy
Liaise with Regulatory to ensure minimal deviations from the existing MDR submission
Lead a cross functional team to deliver
Provide leadership amongst the project when working with supporting functions (e.g. Sterility Assurance, PP&L, Quality Engineering etc)
Ensure a smooth integration of the new process and area with the existing base business requirements
Report out to senior stakeholders with regular progress updates
Manage the capital budget allocated to delivery of the process

Comfortable presenting to senior leaders
Experience in managing a plan with pre-agreed targets
Working in cross functional teams and valuing broad inputs
