Project Manager – Project JET (JJVC Ecosystem Transformation)
Location: Limerick
Working mode: On-site with some flexibility
Duration: 12 months (opportunity for a contract extension)
Hours: Full-time, 39.5 hours per week
Hourly rate: Competitive hourly rate (PAYE, Umbrella and Ltd pay type options available)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic JET Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of our $25 million JET program. This critical role involves managing multiple workstreams, including the implementation of Siemens OpsCenter (MSP), Vista Planning Application, Legacy System upgrades at Limerick and Jacksonville sites, SAP development, and comprehensive system integration. The Program Lead will ensure all systems are seamlessly integrated, validated, and tested within a GMP/GXP environment across both sites, delivering the program safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record in managing complex manufacturing or regulated environment projects. This role is primarily onsite in Limerick, Full-time.
roles and responsibilities
Oversee the development, integration, and validation of key systems including Siemens Op Center (MSP), Vista Planning App, Legacy Systems, and SAP, ensuring compliance with GMP/GXP standards.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including dependencies across SAP, MSP, L2/L3, legacy system interfaces, data readiness, validation, training, and plant readiness.
Drive disciplined execution in line with agreed solution confirmation, validation, and go-live timelines within a complex, multi-site environment through FPX methodology.
Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks related to schedule, resources, validation, site readiness, and inter-programme dependencies, escalating with clear mitigation plans.
Ensure adherence to change control, validation (CSV), and regulated SDLC expectations, working closely with Quality, IT, and Validation teams.
Coordinate activities across Business, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, Automation, Data, and Supply Chain teams to ensure aligned execution and decision-making.
Manage and integrate delivery across system vendors, implementation partners, and internal technical teams, ensuring clarity on scope, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Act as a single point of integration at project level, ensuring handoffs between design, development, testing, validation, and operations are robust and controlled.
Provide clear, structured, and fact-based project updates to programme leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and decisions required.
Support change readiness activities, including training coordination, procedural updates, and business engagement to support successful adoption at site level.
Foster strong working relationships across global JJVC teams to enable standardisation and minimise local divergence.
how to succeed
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of program/project management experience, with a focus on manufacturing or regulated environments.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale projects (>$10M) with multiple workstreams.
Extensive experience with system integration, validation, and testing within GMP/GXP environments.
Requisite knowledge of Software Development Methodologies & Processes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and external vendors.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risks effectively.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter, Vista Planning, SAP, and legacy manufacturing systems.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environments.
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent).
